I’m a journalist, writer, photographer, and perpetual learner who loves following a good question wherever it leads. I’m especially drawn to stories about science, animals, crime, travel, and history—and the unexpected places those subjects intersect.

My work has taken me from reporting and science writing to nonprofit communications, grant writing, teaching, and serving as a spokesperson for several organizations. The common thread is curiosity: I like digging deeply into a subject, finding the detail that makes it come alive, and transforming complicated ideas into clear, interesting stories.
